Law Fu Kee was recommended by a friend in Hong Kong. They are also one of the stalls featured in the “Hong Kong Local Delicacies Guide” published by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
We ordered the “Congee with Preserved Egg and Lean Meat” along with a plate of veg w oyster sauce. The congee has a very soft-texture compared to those in SGP, and was rich & smooth. But I was also impressed with their soft-boiled Pig Liver & Kidney served with shredded ginger & spring onion. The sliced liver was very tender and chewy.
The place was a typical HK styled eatery with very tight space whereby you are squeezed into tiny built-in seats. But it was a pretty good way to experience dining in a traditional HK eatery.
