This is the 2nd time I ate at Dan Ryan’s, the 1st being a couple of years back. They only have 1 outlet in Singapore and I believe it has been at its current location (next to Regent Hotel) for some time already.
We ordered 2 set meals which consist of an appetizer, a main and dessert each.
For appetizer we had Clam Chowder, mains – Wild Mushroom Risotto and a Filet Migon Steak and ending our meal with a Creme Brulee and Apple Pie with Ice-cream.
We were quite disappointed with the food. After tasting the clam chowder, we lowered our expectations for the other dishes…However they continue to disappoint us. The wild mushroom risotto wasn’t up to my expectations, the mushroom taste was slightly too overwhelming till I couldn’t taste the flavour of the gravy. The steak was not chewy nor juicy. The creme brulee tasted more like milk pudding.
For a set meal which cost ard $50-$70 per pax, I find that it was over-priced…
