Cafe Gavroche

There is only 1 word to describe Cafe Gavroche – Parisan. From the decor to the menu to the price also…

Right outside the shophouse, 2 tables with seats placed Parisan-style (facing e street).

We were there for Sunday Brunch, expecting a relax and leisurely ambience.

Saw the freshly baked croissants at the bar top, so we ordered a Pain au Chocolat (Chocolate Croissant). It had a crispy outer layer and was light and fluffy inside~ Really nice! Its also one of the most reasonably priced item at $3.50.

Ordered the Smoked Salmon Oeufs Benedict Poached eggs on Brioche, smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce, which is one of their Specialities. This is the most costly House Speciality at $25, the others were in the range of $16-22.

The poached eggs were runny and I loved the hollandaise sauce! The sauteed potatoes were a tat too salty but still tasted nice.

Cafe Gavroche

Cappucino, latte and tea are all priced at $6.

Good quality breakfast/brunch place but only for the days whereby I feel like indulging myself~
