I’ve long noticed Sophie Bakery since they opened the outlet at Telok Ayer Street but found it out of the way to visit them to try their pastries. Discovered their outlet inside Wisma Atria and bought some pastries to try.
Other than the Peach Tart and Lemon Meringue Tart, I also bought the Pain au chocolat. I found the peach tart slightly soggy, but the lemon meringue was perfectly done – sweetness and sourness well balanced and tart remained crusty. Pain au chocolat was cripsy on the outside and fluffy inside.
Their pricing also seemed more affordable then the other branded bakeries around the Orchard area like Paul and Maison Kayser.
