Uncovered Two Bakers while making our way to a cafe nearby, they were still undergoing renovation then. But the place went into our list of lunch places to visit and we returned after their official opening.
Tried their sandwiches though our focus was the cakes. The sandwiches were pretty filling, I even had to skip 1 slice of the ciabatta from the TWO bakers TYB “Tau Yu Bak” pulled pork style, topped with fried egg on warm ciabatta to save space for cake. The tau yu bak was well marinated and cooked to a nice tender texture. Another jie-mei had Eggs with Smoked Salmon Smoked salmon with refreshing lemon yogurt sauce and an egg sunny side up on a buttery flaky.
Ended our meal with the Carrot Cake. Though I’m not a fan of carrot cake, hadn’t tried much carrot cakes, but the carrot cake here had the right moist and the cream cheese frosting was light and smooth.
Can’t wait to be back to try their other cakes.
