It was a rainy Saturday, hence we decided to try our luck at the popular Potato Head Folk hoping that there will be less crowd. At 8pm, we were able to get a table without any waiting time. Guess we were slightly early as the tables were filled in half an hours’ time.
Had the Cracka Lacka Corn Slow roasted and charred corn on cob, paprika mayo, Parmesan, lime & toasted brioche crumbs and fries as side dish. The corn was yummy~ Juicy and crunchy.
Tried two types of burger – Krabby Patty 150g blue swimmer crab patty, coriander, chilli, lime, lettuce and salted egg mmayonnaise in a rice bun and Baby Huey prime 150g beef patty, cheese, lettuce, ‘Notorious T.O.M. Sauce’, pickles & spiced mayo in a demi brioche bun.
Luv the crab patty which is simply Crab cake but it would be better if its paired with brioche bun. The Krabby Patty is a savoury burger while the Beef burger is a sweet burger. The sauce is sweet and went well with the perfectly grilled beef patty.
The burgers were pretty filling and after downing the beer, I was stuffed…As the place was pretty full by the time we finished our meal, we didn’t stay long as the music was too loud and the service staff seemed to be subtly cueing us to leave…
Liked the food, service was ok but not exactly the ambience here…
