Tonkichi Japanese Restaurant

Realised that January has always been a slow month, based on my past years’ record it tends to be the lowest in number of posts I made, both for 2013 & 2014…From the looks of it, it might be the case again this year…Only made my 1st post of the year 1 week into 2015.

Tonkichi Japanese Restaurant in Shaw House has been around for quite long time, even after some of their neighbouring tenants had changed hands. It’s an evidence of its steady customer base around the area.

Had the Maguro Sake Chirashi set and the Kuro Buta Hire Katsu set. The salmon and tuna were thick and reasonably fresh – afterall they are not a sushi place.

The black pork katsu had a nice crust outside and the pork was tender on the inside. Ordered an ala carte fried prawns which was huge and nicely done too.

Fueling up in preparation for a busy week ahead.
