Visited Aura in National Art Gallery during the Singapore Restaurant Week 2016. The restaurant has a lower floor dining hall which is cozy and intimate and an upper floor that includes an open deck bar area that offers expansive view of Padang and MBS skyline.

The restaurant week menu is a 4-course set meal at $58++ per pax. Started with some warm focaccia and starter of Lobster & Crab Salad with Salmon Pearls.


Followed by Casarecci Pasta with Black Cod and Asparagus. This is the first time I ever eaten the Casarecci pasta which are in the shape of long narrow twists.

Main protein was Adriatic Seabass with Artichokes and Saffron Sauce. The fish has a nice crispy skin along with moist firm flesh.


Ended the meal with Mandarin Orange & Chocolate Zucotto dessert which was one of the more memorable dish for our meal.

The service was attentive and friendly but the key reason why we would ever be revisiting again is the impressive views that place offered. The food per se was pretty unremarkable… Guess I would rather visit the bar than spend the money to have a meal here…Perhaps that’s why when we were there the bar section seems more happening than the dining area.
