My final take-out post (yeah!) as I regained most of my mobility. In any case, I arrived at Loloku to realise that they have very limited seating – probably less than 10 in total with most of them situated at the five foot way outside the shop house (i.e no air-con). That prompted me to buy take-out instead.
Ordered their signature bowls which were written on the chalk board – Wiki Wiki (Salmon) and Ono (Hamachi).
What was special about their Wiki Wiki was the inclusion of Kimchi along with the salmon chunks which were coated with chipotle mayo and was slightly spicy. For me it was slightly too mushy due to the mayo. I do take spicy salmon gunkan when I visit Japanese restaurants but to have the whole bowl of it was testing my limits. Unfortunately this salmon poke was not my cup of tea…
Pictured in the main photo was the Ono (Hamachi) which I preferred over the salmon one. It comprised of edamame, tobiko, ponzu and wasabi which was a good mix of textures.
