Wanted to try out Pontini‘s set lunch ($38/42++) but unfortunately its Secretaries’ Week and they had a special set menu which cost $68 (seems to me they are making use of the opportunity to mark-up prices for lunch that wk…). Till now I’m puzzled why with the Secretaries’ Week promo meant that they don’t serve the usual set lunch?! Anyway since we were there, I just settle for the ala carte meal instead.
After passing through a walkway with waterfalls, you’ll be greeted by a spacious dining area with buffet bar area.
Complimentary bread was served and the service staff were prompt and attentive. I ordered a Seafood Aglio Olio pasta and a Tiramisu for dessert.
Pasta was pretty normal but Tiramisu was nice. (Well worth me giving up ordering a mushroom soup for this~!!)
Will consider going back for their set lunch – but will rem to call to verify that its available first..hee.
