With the original Kilo located at the rather inaccessible Kampong Bugis, I hadn’t found any opportunity to visit them. While I was cracking my head over what to eat in Orchard Central, Kilo at Pact came to my mind.
The casual eatery set-up tucked in a corner of the maze-like Orchard Central serving Jap-inspired cuisines was just what I needed for dinner.
An interesting find on the menu was the Raw’s Seafood Ceviche Tuna, salmon, octopus, thai chilli-lime dressing. Not a Jap food per se but I did enjoy this refreshing starter.
Next we had Pan-seared Salmon wasabi mash, grilled veggies & white-wine shimeiji mushrooms and Mentaiko Spaghetti tossed in cod roe, spring onions and shoyu. Enjoyed the grilled veggies, mash and reasonably fresh salmon. The spaghetti was al-dente, savoury and flavoursome.
