Luxe Singapore [Closed]

My 2nd visit to Keong Saik this weekend, this time to Luxe Singapore. They were packed the day before when I passed by but had less crowd today. Unlike the other cafes in Duxton area which are filled with relatively young hip teens, the clientele here at Keong Saik seemed to be the more working class adults (including a steady following of foreigners since they are a chain originating from Australia).

A simple 2 page menu was presented, on one side were all-day breakfast options and the other side were entrees/mains/sides. We chose to have a Grilled Octopus Chui’s XO sauce and Luxe Burger grass-fed beef, cheese, house-made pickles, lettuce & fries along with a glass of Watermelon juice.

The grilled octopus was well-prepared to a great chewy texture, the XO sauce seemed to have bits of chai poh (preserved radish) in it? Either way, it was a teeny weeny too salty.

Loved the freshly fried fries and the juicy beef burger. The burger was simple but flawlessly good.
